Donor Designated
People give for a variety of reasons and often support those areas, such as cancer care, hospice or physical rehabilitation, that have touched them on a personal level.  To make a gift today, please contact the Office of Development, or go to our online giving form.

In addition, if you would like further information about where your gift is most needed or how to designate a gift, please contact a member of the SJMHS Office of Development staff by calling 734-712-4040.

Cancer Center
Your gift will help us to offer a place of hope where patients and families can go for advanced medicine and compassionate care.

The Cancer Center at St. Joseph Mercy Brighton provides advanced radiation treatment, chemotherapy and opportunities for patients to participate in research studies. We were the first Health System to offer radiation treatment using a linear accelerator in Livingston County.  Along with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services, the Cancer Center also provides resources for support and education.  In addition, patients receiving care here have access to benefits that only a larger Health System can provide, such as a vast network of expert physicians, nurses and clinicians and leading-edge equipment such as CyberKnife®.

Your gift will help to ensure that patients and families in Livingston County and the surrounding area have world-class cancer care close to home.

Senior Emergency Center
Your gift for the Senior ER will help us to continue providing specialized emergency care to address the unique and often complex needs of adults ages 65 and over living in your community.

An alternative to the traditional rapid pace of the ER, a specialty-trained team of emergency physicians, nurses and other health care experts at the Senior ER will thoroughly assess the patient’s physical ability, cognitive status and level of risk for pre-existing medical conditions, medication interactions, insufficient nutrition, dementia, living condition concerns and even depression.  This innovative approach helps to develop a personalized care plan that promotes recovery, health and wellness.

Patients will also benefit from amenities including pressure-reducing mattresses and reclining chairs; soft lighting and noise buffers to reduce anxiety; and non-slip / non-glare floors, handrails and hearing and vision aids to enhance safety.

Your generosity will help us to provide emergency services that meet the needs of seniors in your community.
