Our Faculty

Paul Schultz, MD
Program Director

Dr. Schultz is ABFM board certified in family medicine. He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. He has a passion for teaching and has broad interests that include office procedures, EHR optimization, doctor-patient communications, and promoting continuity of care. Dr. Schultz has lived in the area for over 25 years and has a strong commitment to the local community.

Kelly Arenz, DO
Osteopathic Program Director

Dr. Arenz is AOA board certified in family medicine. She graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her osteopathic family medicine residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. She incorporates a strong belief in the family unit along with the osteopathic philosophy throughout the patient care experience. She has a strong expertise in osteopathic manipulation. Dr. Arenz also is board certified in Addiction Medicine and brings this expertise to our family medicine clinic.

Zoë Foster, MD
Site Medical Director

Dr. Foster is ABFM board certified in family medicine. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Michigan where she continues to be a faculty member in the Sports Medicine Fellowship program. She provides sports medicine support for several local high school and collegiate sports teams. Prior to joining our faculty group Dr. Foster practiced for many years in a local family medicine office where she developed an experience with practice management. She is the site medical director at our Livingston Family Medicine Center.

Brian Vukelic, MD
Curriculum Coordinator

Dr. Vukelic is an ABFM board certified family physician. He comes to us from the west coast. After graduating from the University of Utah Family Medicine Residency program he spent time as a primary care physician in the Kaiser Permanente system in California. He has an interest in office procedures, inpatient medicine, and curriculum development. A component of his time will involve inpatient rounding as part of our inpatient family medicine service. Dr. Vukelic oversees and organizes our resident didactic educational experience.

Robert Brummeler, MD
Family Medicine Obstetrics

Dr. Brummeler is an ABFM board certified family physician. He graduated from the American University of the Caribbean and completed his family medicine residency locally at Providence Hospital. Dr. Brummeler has interests in office procedures and family medicine obstetrics. He directs our obstetrical curriculum and maintains a strong relationship with the St Joseph Mercy Health System department of Obstetrics and the L&D staff. He also supervises our resident continuity obstetrical experience at the Corner Clinic in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Renee Brayton, DO

Dr. Brayton graduated from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. She is the medical director at the SJMHS-Canton Urgent Care Center. The residents consistently give her outstanding reviews for her teaching style. Dr. Brayton actively employs the osteopathic philosophy and OMM in her work at the urgent care center and is a strong role model for our osteopathic residents.

Mary Beth Rupp, MD

Dr. Rupp is ABFM board certified in family medicine. She graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. She is an established family physician in the St Joseph Livingston hospital with roles that include FM department chair. She has a successful private practice in Brighton, MI and is a preceptor in the Livingston Family Medicine Center. She brings vast knowledge and experience along with a strong background of running a successful private practice.

Binh Dinh, MD

Psychiatrist Behavioral Medicine Dr. Dinh is a board certified psychiatrist (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology) and brings expertise in the integration of behavioral medicine in a primary care setting to our residency. His faculty role focuses on the training of our residents in behavioral medicine as well as current treatment options for commonly encountered psychiatric conditions. He has expertise in treatment of mental health conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Megan Bidgoli, MD (Hospitalist)

Dr. Bidgoli is an ABFM board certified family physician that oversees our adult inpatient medicine experience at the SJMHS-Livingston hospital as one of our hospitalists. She is the academic coordinator of our Family Medicine Inpatient Teaching Service and always gets strong reviews from our residents for her teaching style and commitment to education and patient safety.
