Protestant Patients
For patients from Protestant denominations that celebrate Communion or the
Anointing of the Sick, we will be happy to make arrangements for this to be
done either by one of our Protestant chaplains or by a local clergy member.
Baptism, except in emergency situations, is to be administered in your local
church. Chaplains will assist in any emergency situation, or will help you contact
your local clergy.
Other religious resources, such as prayer and reading of scripture, are available
during your hospitalization.
Jewish Patients
Local rabbis regularly visit patients in the hospital. If you would like us
to make arrangements for a rabbi to visit, contact a chaplain.
Muslim Patients
Local imams regularly visit patients in the hospital. If you would like us
to make arrangements for an imam to visit, contact a chaplain.
Patients of Other Practices
Our chaplains will be happy to provide assistance to you within your own religious
tradition.
