In February, 2006 we were granted approval of the new Dermatology residency training program at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital from the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). We are currently working with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) to obtain accreditation through their Residency Review Committee and hope to have dual (D.O. and M.D.) accreditation some time in the future.
We begin accepting applications for the Dermatology Residency Program July 1 through October 1, interviewing in November, for the next academic year. The following documents are required for the application to be reviewed:

- Personal Statement / Goal
- Transcripts
- Complex Scores
- Letters of Recommendation
- Listing of Articles Written / Published
- Recent passport size photo
